Swim Slowly, Use Caution

Without boundaries, it exists swirling
existing in the air around you, never within
light and kind
warming you from the outside in.
Wrapping its arms around you like the warm tortilla of a burrito
gentle squeeze, reminding you you are not alone
Like sunlight at the edge of an ocean
brightening the soul, the skin, the mind
showering with soft petals,
in truth,
it lives
deep,
down
where there is no light
like the absolute bottom of the ocean.
a flashlight and oxygen tank your only tools to survival
the only way out: Swim slowly, Use caution
